Volunteer Opportunity Spotlight


Are you looking for a unique team outing that gives back? Opportunities will be available May through August for groups to paint indoor murals on our campus. No experience is necessary and all supplies will be provided.

Shifts will be available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and lunch will be provided. If you're interested in this opportunity, please reach out to the Event Manager, Erin De LeRosa, for more information at

Volunteer Group painting murals

At Damar, we host several events throughout the year for our children and adults to enjoy. Most of our volunteer opportunities are related to these special occasions. Individual volunteers may sign up to help with special events or projects listed on VolunteerHub whenever they are available. We can work with groups to plan a custom day of service, but we are not able to accommodate individual requests for independent service at this time.

For the safety of our clients, all Damar volunteers need to complete an online application that includes a free background check. Click below to begin the application process today!

Group Volunteers

Are you interested in starting a company volunteer group? Groups of 10-25 volunteers tend to be the best fit for custom projects. Smaller groups work perfectly for leading activities in the Damar Village Center or for assisting with a special event. Please email for more information.

    Potential Projects for Groups
  • Leading activities for small groups of adults in the Damar Village Center (game night, cookie decorating, Zumba, football watch party, etc.)
  • Sorting and organizing Prom dresses for future events
  • Various maintenance projects like painting an outdoor bridge or weeding in the garden
  • Installing lights and decorating outdoors for the drive-through Damar Holiday Village
