Elf Gift Shopping and Wrapping
December 10 and 11
Each year, volunteers help us wrap and shop for Christmas gifts for the 200 children that call Damar their temporary home. Save the date for this fun holiday volunteer opportunity that you can do with family and friends! Sign up links will be available in November.
At Damar, we host several events throughout the year for our children and adults to enjoy. Most of our volunteer opportunities are related to these special occasions. Individual volunteers may sign up to help with special events or projects listed on VolunteerHub whenever they are available. We can work with groups to plan a custom day of service, but we are not able to accommodate individual requests for independent service at this time.

Are you interested in starting a company volunteer group? Groups of 10-25 volunteers tend to be the best fit for custom projects. Smaller groups work perfectly for leading activities in the Damar Village Center or for assisting with a special event. Please email [email protected] for more information.

- Leading activities for small groups of adults in the Damar Village Center (game night, cookie decorating, Zumba, football watch party, etc.)
- Sorting and organizing Prom dresses for future events
- Various maintenance projects like painting an outdoor bridge or weeding in the garden
- Installing lights and decorating outdoors for the drive-through Damar Holiday Village
