2020 Damar Holiday Volunteers Recap

This past year’s Damar Elf Shopping may have looked different due to social distancing guidelines, but that didn’t stop a dedicated group of volunteers from shopping and wrapping presents for Damar clients.  This annual effort gives over 200 children and adults an amazing Christmas morning.  We thank each of our volunteers that make Elf Shopping possible.

Dee Simerl, a member of the philanthropic sorority Delta Theta Tau, was enthusiastic to share her commitment to the event.  Each year volunteers receive a commemorative Elf Shopper pin, and Dee proudly showed off all eleven on hers.  She shared how special and fun it is to make a direct impact on the kids, and how she looks forward to coming back in the coming years!
