I Make a Difference
At Damar, each of us knows we make a difference in the lives of the people we serve … and that makes a difference in our lives. Here are four stories that answer the question:
A Rewarding Calling
Will Frazier is a Residential Manager with Damar Services. Employed with Damar since 2007, Will started as a Direct Support Technician and then promoted to his first leadership role in 2009. Today, he serves as a tenured Manager of Damar Group Homes.
The Place You Ought To Be
Joining Damar in 2002, Oakie Shepherd began his work at Damar serving clients through our Recreation department. In his current role on the Maintenance team, Oakie is focused on keeping Damar campuses beautiful. Loved by clients and staff alike, Oakie is one who doesn’t know a stranger.
The Damar Way
Connie Chase became a member of the Damar family in 2006, beginning her career as a Direct Support Technician. Today, Connie serves as an Ambassador – one of our “first faces of Damar” – as she welcomes and supports our clients, families and visitors in the CLASS program.
Damar Believes in You
Nicole Schulke began her work at Damar in 2011 as a Direct Support Technician. During her tenure, she also worked as a Resource Specialist and Building Manager. She currently works as a Residential Manager on Campus.
