The event, which is held at the Meijer in Camby, includes two volunteer roles, shopping for gifts and wrapping them.



Each shopping volunteer will receive one child's wish list when they check in and then proceed to select items in the store from their specific wish list. Damar Staff will be available at the check-in table and throughout the store to answer questions or help choose appropriate gifts. All of the gifts are paid for by Damar, thanks to the support of generous donors.

Gift wrapping volunteers will take the gifts selected by the shopping volunteers and wrap each one individually at the gift-wrapping station set up in the back of the store. Basic-gift wrapping supplies will be provided, however volunteers are welcome to bring in their own supplies if they prefer. We also encourage all volunteers to bring in any extra boxes they may have, as we are always running short on boxes.
