Elizabeth “Liz” Snyder
Vice President of Human Resources
Liz Snyder joined DAMAR Services, Inc. as human resources director in 1999 and was promoted to vice president of human resources in 2006. Charged with overseeing the strategic management of all HR functions and staff, Ms. Snyder brings more than 20 years of experience in employee relations, recruitment and retention, training, compensation and benefits administration, and policy development and interpretation.
Previously, Ms. Snyder lent her expertise to the transportation, property management industry, and banking industries, having served in various HR leadership roles for Budget Group Inc., NHP Inc., AIMCO, and First Merchants Bank, respectively.
True to DAMAR’s mission of serving individuals with developmental disabilities, Liz serves as co-chair of INARF’s (Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Inc.) Human Resource Section Group. She also is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Human Resource Association of Central Indiana, and secretary/treasurer of the Board of Directors for John 17 Ministries.
A native of Winchester, Indiana, Liz is has a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from Ball State University, and holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
