Director of Outpatient Services

Jennifer Foster is the director of outpatient services at DAMAR Services, Inc. Charged with directing the development, implementation and evaluation of outpatient clinical treatment services, she leads a team of psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors and behavior management professionals to ensure DAMAR clients and families receive the best possible care and service.

Foster came to DAMAR in 1998 as a group home direct support staff and was promoted to a group home residential director, associate director of group services and outpatient mental health therapist before assuming her current position in 2007. Previously, she worked as a pre-school teacher.

She is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and also serves as an IndyFeral volunteer and colony caretaker.

An Indianapolis native, Foster has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Purdue University and a master’s degree in social work Indiana University.
