Nicholas “Nick” A. Parkevich
Director of Advancement
Nicholas A. Parkevich joined DAMAR Services, Inc. as a development officer in 2003 and was promoted to director of development in 2004. A member of the executive team, Mr. Parkevich now serves as the director of advancement, responsible for strategic planning and management of communication and resource development initiatives, as well as volunteer and government relations activities which assist to advance DAMAR’s important mission.
Nick previously served as a public information officer with the Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development. He also was the first Indiana state director for Best Buddies and subsequently served as a member of the Best Buddies Indiana honorary board.
Nick has served as a volunteer for the United Way of Central Indiana charged with certifying new United Way agencies and also sits on the Editorial Board of the Morgan County Business Leader publication.
A native of Carroll County, Indiana, Nick holds both Bachelor of Science and master’s degrees in public affairs from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University.
