Dottie Gilliam, MSW
Food Service Director
Serving DAMAR’s food service director since 1987, Dottie Gilliam is charged with management of the dietary department staff and ensuring the fulfillment of the dietary needs of all DAMAR campus residents. During her tenure at Damar, the number of children and adolescents served has more than tripled.
A native of Fort Branch, Indiana, Gilliam’s previously served as an assistant manager at Cambridge Inn Cafeterias in Indianapolis. She holds a bachelor’s degree in restaurant, hotel and institution management from Purdue University.
