Anita Horne
DAMAR Best Program Director
Anita Horne serves as the DAMAR Best program director, the initiative through which the organization develops, implements evaluated and exports best practice initiatives and facilitates staff and community-based training.
Horne resides in Indianapolis and has focused her career on serving individuals with disabilities. She came to DAMAR in 1997 as a direct care staff, later advancing to residential manager and residential director. Previously, she provided community case management services for five years for adults facing mental illness.
Horne holds a bachelor’s in biology from Purdue University and a master’s in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
