Making a Difference

Look around the Damar Services campus or community-based programs, and you won't see a single aspect of the organization's operations - or a single individual served — that has not in some way been touched by the selfless dedication of the Damar Guild.

Year after year, the women of the Guild auxiliary have given faithfully of their time, talent and treasure in remarkably successful efforts to engage others in the same kind of giving. They have worked relentlessly on Damar's behalf, raising funds, organizing events, marshalling manpower and forging the connections to the community that have helped Damar grow and serve so many.

In recent years, the Guild has highlighted its efforts with fun-filled dinner dances, wine tasting events, BINGO nights and other fundraising activities that enabled the organization to give $100,000 in support of Damar's Exceeding Expectations capital campaign.

Proceeds from Damar Guild events are used to help fund other special projects at Damar, such as:

• Damar Academy
• Birthday gifts for Damar clients
• Holiday gifts for Damar clients
• Annual Damar Guild Skating Party for Damar clients
