Our residential programs have reached a 93% success rate in improving the quality of life and a higher degree of independence for those we serve. Thanks to a major grant from Lilly Endowment and the generosity of many others, DAMAR is funding and directing research that can make a difference in the lives of those with developmental disabilities and severe behavioral challenges.
Through our DAMAR Best initiative, we are actively researching, identifying and documenting best practices for effective treatment and support. Later in 2007 we plan to begin publishing and sharing that research here and in other formal presentations.
