Volunteer Resources Director
Donna Stutler joined Damar Services, Inc. in 2002 as the first volunteer resources director. Responsible for executing, evaluating and sustaining Damar's volunteer program, she is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing volunteers as well as developing strategies for cultivating and expanding Damar's corps of individuals and groups that lend their time and talents in support of Damar's important mission. Donna's talent, guidance and strong leadership have resulted in unprecedented growth of the organization's volunteer program from less than 100 people to more than a 1,300. She was recognized in 2005 as the Volunteer Coordinator of the Year by the Central Indiana Association of Volunteer Administrators. Prior to joining Damar, was with the Indiana School for the Deaf where she concluded her 29-year tenure as the assistant to the outreach director and administrative team. Donna's professional and civic affiliations, including membership on boards for CIAVA (Central Indiana Association of Volunteer Administrators and the Mooresville Kiwanis Club, further evidences her passion for human services. She is also a member of an advisory board for the University of Indianapolis' School of Occupational Therapy and the IUPUI Master's of Public Health Community Practice Committee as well as a volunteer at her church and Wheeler Mission Ministries in Indianapolis. A native of Evansville, Ind., Donna graduated from Our Lady of Grace Academy. She holds a bachelor's degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
